Slow And Steady Wins The Race?....
Why should Learning to code be a slow and steady process??

If you are new to programming, then this post has your name written all over it. If your name is Tessa then, I'd have probably said ..."TESSA !!! THIS POST IS FOR YOU!!"
Yh...so let's get into this article.
Programming in itself can be very frustrating to beginners.
You feel like there are so many concepts and stuff to learn in the programming language and like becoming a good enough developer to work on projects might take forever. So the urge to learn as many things as possible at the littlest time comes in. You want to just know every single thing knowable, watch videos for hours trying to cover as much as possible in the littlest time possible. "Learning to program is not a race it is a marathon!! SLOW DOWN".
How do I know this?? Well, I'm a beginner programmer as well and I have learned these lessons the hard way. Getting stuck in Tutorial hell is only one of the many problems you would encounter by trying to rush the learning process. Tutorial hell is a state of unending tutorials you just would never completely understand and have to keep watching to understand anything being learnt thereby creating an endless loop of only, PURE TORTURE!!
I promise you that getting stuck on tutorial videos is the worst!!
You'd probably end up like the man in the picture below...
My advice to anyone about to start out or still a total beginner like me is...Try to learn in a way that you seem comfortable and not rushed, that way you can assimilate and grasp the concepts even more. Take, for example, I was learning a programming language like python. It would be best for me to take my time understanding the basics for an as long time as possible, just so that the bigger more complicated concepts would be easier to grasp. And... trust me once that is done, you can start working on projects while learning more concepts along the way.
